A master-planned community located north of Parmer Lane, Scofield Farms gives residents a peaceful, suburban atmosphere while having easy access to I-35 and MoPac. The neighborhood was established in the 1980s and features homes by some of the area’s well-known builders like Newmark and David Weekley Homes.

Scofield Farms draws residents of all ages, thanks to its wide selection of home styles and many recreational opportunities. You’ll find upscale townhomes alongside modest, one-story homes. There are also several larger, two-story homes in the area – many of which have plenty of backyard space for large patios or decks, and some even with outdoor pools. The neighborhood is just a few miles from the city’s major employers like IBM, Free Scale, Samsung, and Dell, so it’s also a great choice for business professionals and their families.

Scofield Farms boasts a relaxing atmosphere, which will be evident as you take a walk through the neighborhood. It has well-manicured lawns, wide streets, and plenty of trees to provide shade. And, there’s a large focus on the community thanks to its active neighborhood association. The Scofield Farms Neighborhood Association plans many events throughout the year including a 4th of July Parade, Halloween and Christmas parties, and musical events like Jazz in the Park.

Recreational opportunities abound in Scofield Farms. The neighborhood is home to two swimming pools – one that’s Junior Olympic-sized, as well as a baby pool and shower house. Scofield Farms Park is in the heart of the neighborhood and spans 13 acres. It has a picnic area with tables, a volleyball court, multipurpose field, and 0.3 miles of hike and bike trails. A larger park, Walnut Creek Metropolitan, is just south of Parmer Lane and spans nearly 300 acres. It’s a popular spot on the evenings and weekends, thanks to its several picnic areas, basketball and volleyball courts, swimming pool, playground, and 15 miles of trails.

The neighborhood is served by the Pflugerville Independent School District. Children will attend Parmer Lane Elementary, Westview Middle School, and Connally High School. There are also many notable options nearby, should parents choose a private school. Stepping Stone School 5, Brentwood Christian School, Our Savior Lutheran School, and Pflugerville Montessori School are all within three miles.

Residents of Scofield Farms will enjoy being just minutes from the conveniences they need, as well as shopping and entertainment. An H.E.B. grocery store is at the corner of Parmer Lane and MoPac, while the Arboretum’s fine shopping and dining is just five miles away. The Domain Shopping Center is a pedestrian-friendly mall just three miles southwest of the area. It’s home to more than 70 specialty stores, several dining venues, and large anchors like Neiman Marcus and Macy’s.
